What is the Tides of Grace Baby Quilts+ Project?
The primary mission of Baby Quilts+ is to create and distribute blankets, including quilts and knitted and crocheted blankets, to support Tides of Grace and other organizations serving the needs of the community. This year Tides of Grace is preparing care packages for each of the child participants at Camp New Dawn. The previous two years Baby Quilts+ supported the Tides of Grace Community Baby Showers by providing a baby quilt to every family that participated.
In addition to collecting and distributing blankets, Baby Quilts+ has another mission: to develop a community of the creative people who make the blankets. In addition to providing opportunities for makers to gather in fellowship to make quilts, Baby Quilts+ will also provide people with limited or no experience the opportunity to learn to quilt.
